Low Cost Spay/Neuter
Cape Ann Animal Aid's SpayMAMA Program	Through this program, Cape Ann Animal Aid will cover the cost of a spay surgery for cats and dogs that have recently given birth. The mother and her offspring are fixed and the mother is returned to the owner while the offspring is adopted out through the shelter. Please call 978-283-6055 for more information.

Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society CATMOBILE	The Catmobile is a subsidized spay/neuter program for cats only offering low-cost spay/neuter services for cats and kittens in MA and Southern, NH. Friends of Animals Spay and Neuter Program	Friends of Animals offers low cost spay and neuter certificates valid at participating veterinary hospitals. Certificates can only be purchased online at: www.friendsofanimals.org/programs/spay-neuter/index.html

ARL Spay Waggin'	The Spay Waggin’ is a subsidized spay/neuter program created by the Animal Rescue League of Boston to assist clients in financial need. The Spay Waggin’ makes monthly scheduled stops throughout the South Shore and the Cape to perform surgeries on an appointment-only basis. (Formerly Cape Ann Wild Bird Rescue)	Cape Ann Wildlife, Inc. formerly Cape Ann Wild Bird Rescue has been rescuing and rehabilitating many various species of birds in Gloucester, MA since 2005. Animal Friendly License Plates Available!
	Everyone in Massachusetts who loves animals can now help end overpopulation with a special license plate! The animal friendly plates, which feature a silhouette of a dog and cat and the phrase “I’m Animal Friendly,” are available from Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. The cost for the plate is $40, $28 of which will benefit local spay and neuter programs. The remaining $12 is a one-time only fee to cover the cost of manufacturing. Upon renewal, the entire $40 will benefit spay and neuter programs.
